Swedish Massage is by far the most commonly referenced and well know type of massage. The primary focus of Swedish Massage is to reach the highest level of relaxation possible. This type of massage is often best for clients that prefer a more gentle type of massage. Although less pressure is applied, Swedish Massage works well for improving circulation and decreasing muscle toxins.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage focuses on fatigued and over-worked muscles to relieve tension and break up adhesion’s in the muscle fibers. Using slower, deeper strokes on concentrated areas which is beneficial to relieving chronic muscle tension. Sports Massage is Designed to relieve pain caused by physical activity, repetitive motions, everyday stress and overuse.

Reiki Massage

Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that uses a very light touch to get to the root of whatever may be causing you pain, discomfort or dis-ease. During the session, the client remains clothed, while the therapist places their hands on various points on the body, focusing on the head, hands and feet. Extreme relaxation is a common side effect, as soft music plays and the healing energy flows to where it is needed. A great option for anyone, especially for the shy, injured or highly stressed!

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage is very important for expectant mothers as their body goes through changes. Massage can aid in the recovery of the expectant mother. Only available after the first trimester as major development of the fetus is occurring during this stage.

Neuromuscular Massage uses advanced massage techniques by applying pressure to specific areas of the muscle called trigger points. Think of nerves as trees the branches of the trees run down from the spine throughout our muscles to cause contraction. When adhesions form in the muscle from overuse or injury it pinches those branches causing referral pain back to the top of the nerve.
